Why Join Us?
The Poor People’s Network is organized to provide a path-forward, out of poverty for individuals and families, at or below the poverty threshold. By joining our group, you are not only helping to reduce poverty in your community but also have the opportunity to generate employment opportunities for yourself and others, via our Affiliate Services , as well.
What are the benefits of joining an Active Membership?
There are four active membership levels, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Family Membership. Members of these groups, by way of our Affiliate Services Program, have the opportunity to participate in the self-directed, worker cooperative programs, when community projects are implemented.
If I donate, is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, The Poor People’s Network is a non-profit organization able to receive tax-deductible contributions year-round. Your charitable contribution will go directly toward the resources that Poor People’s Network provides its mission objectives. Our EIN/Tax ID number is 88-1999337.
If I join an Active Membership, will I be able to cancel my subscription?
Yes, you only have to provide 30 days notice.
Are there more ways to support without joining?
Yes, you can donate, volunteer, or sponsor someone.
